About me

Nick Jones

Hello, I’m an architectural writer and editor. Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked on some of the UK’s most respected architecture and construction magazines, including Building, Icon and Building Design, as well as for the London Design Festival and London Design Biennale.

I am the author of The World Recast, a coffee-table book on concrete post-war architecture, and curated an accompanying exhibition at The Building Centre in London. I am also a committee member of the Society of Architectural Historians of Great Britain, and edit its magazine, The Architectural Historian.

My company, Wordmule, produces bespoke editorial and marketing content about buildings and cities for clients including publisher UBM, global engineering firm WSP and the Concrete Centre.

I studied English at Balliol College, Oxford, and have an MA in Contemporary History and Politics from Birkbeck, University of London.
